Good interpretation, that's what they are really trying to say. They know these players backgrounds(i.e. Ron Artest from Queensbridge and known to hang around "street dudes"), and yet they still pay them millions of dollars to drive ticket and merchandise sales. Not saying that where Artest is from was the reason why he defended himself when a drink was thrown on him, yet there were other signs over the past few years that Artest was capable of such an act. If NBA owners want to really get a high ROI (Return On Investment), then they should invest in their players for more than their own bottom line!
