Trickology has the new Common featuring Scarface and Mos Def - The Corners Remix. It's underwhelming, just like the other tracks I've heard from his album. That's too bad, because the Okay Player circle really needs a win this year.

The remix is decent but nothing to run all call your friends abouts. I'm feeling Common's album 'BE' though... but I still think 'Like Water For Chocolate' is his best album to date.

I have to agree with the Trickology review, it's kind of a yawn. And I'm a huge Common fan. Common seemed uninspired, Scarface seemed to just phone it in. Mos Def was decent but couldnt save it.

'Testify', from the album, is bananas.

I have to disagree after the initial 4x I heard "Be" i was like yea it's ok. But after putting it in my ipod and having an ample chance to really feel all of the elements of the album i think this album is Amazing! I like that the fact that he was honest about the EC shit...and why his ass was persuaded (By P*ssy) to wear crocheted pants and hat.

The last verse from 'They Say' is crazy.

The remix is nice. I like Common because I like rappers who actually have decent subject matter. We need more of Common, Dead Prez and Immortal Technique in hip-hop.
Common's album BE is one of the best this year.
