Introducing: SOHH Blogs

SOHH.com now has it's own hip-hop blog section! They already do daily reports on hip-hop news, and have a huge message board community (1,300 online right now), so blogging, which is often a mix of news and community is a natural step for SOHH.

I have my own blog over there called Media Chin-Check, and I'm helping put together the others. Remember MTV's wack attempt at blogging? Well, this is much different. At SOHH Blogs it's real hip-hop heads, saying whatever they want, posting outside links, and getting unfiltered love/hate in the open comments section. Just like here!

The front page features a snapshot of not just the what's happening on the blogs or in the news at SOHH, but also around the hip-hop web. This is cool for people like my brother, who squints when I say "RSS" and  thinks I'm talking about a new drug when I mention using "Kinja."

Talkin Videos. A blog about music videos, written by my boy, Ron Mexico. So far he:

1. explaines the Ying Yang Twins' "Flavor Flav Complex"

4. notices the similarity between P. Diddy's album artwork and 50 Cent's new video

Media Chin-Check. I watch the media watch hip-hop. So far I:

1. wondered where's Eva's Apple Bottom?
2. revealed questions hip-hop journalists forget to ask
3. cleared up the does rap kill? question
4. answered Danyel Smith's call to us to write no matter what

This has nothing to do with the recent post here I just wanted to drop some gossip. I am TopSoil a Mackman from Compton. "TopMackNigga!" is the blog, but later on that. Breaking news while at a recent Hip-Hop show featuring tha Game, who is a CupCake. I was there checking the scene adding bitches to tha team, Planet Asia shows up with some new Ice on, you know that new shit tha all diamond chain, it was flavorful, anyways Game is up there with some dudes from Cedar Block Piru and some dudes from Bountyhunters, a little buster dude from Hunters pulls heat on Planet asia and Jacked him for the chain. Planet Asia calls game the next day crying abouit one of his boys Jacked him and guess what, the same dirty little nigga who doesn't even have a car comes around wearing the chain like what. To make a long story shirt they beat his ass and took the chain back, and Planet asia was lucky. True story.
