Predictions Update: Dave Chapelle

Remember my predictions list where I said Dave Chapelle would fall off? Well, I might be right. News is production on Chappelle's Show  has been suspended.

Why? Who knows, but the obvious rumor is that dude may be uninspired and finding it difficult to keep up the quality. In others words, maybe he fell off and Comedy Central knows that.

Fell off? hell, he just got hot... Your predictions are premature. It takes pure genious to do what has he has done in 3 years. There is not another comedian out there who has taken the risks that D.Chappelle has taken to make us laugh and take notice at ourselves,stereotypes,culture and our Hip HOP music. What other show/comedians have given virtually unknown rappers, neo-soul artist an audience...? HuMM I can't think of one. So, don't hate on the brotha, don't be that stereotypical crab in a barrel and pull the brotha down... help celebrate and elevate his contribution to our HIP HOP culture. I'm still waiting for someone else to step up and take the chances the D.Chapelle has taken to help us take a second look at ourselves.... He needs our support right now to get through whatever he is going through, so let's help him recover his comedic genious to put on another season of the Chappelle Show.

I've got to echo BDAWGS'S remarks about Dave just getting started. No way does this have to do with his creative juices being all dried up. I think that since they (Comedy Central) tried to play him with the not paying him what he's worth early on, has Dave Chappelle now in the position to make em sweat! GO ON DAVE!!! MAKE EM BEG FOR IT!

Dave has been around for a lot of years. My guess is that, Dave misses the days when he had enough success to do pretty much what he wanted to do, with out so many leaches (black, white and in between), and would be leaches, riding his backside. It must be enough to drive some people into seclusion.

When you've got it like that, you can go and take a break. You can take a break, far away from the leaches who don't have it like that. White folks do it all the time, and nobody says shit about it. They call it a spa or a resort....yes and some call it rehab. Dave Chapelle does it and they call it a mental health facility.

See why he had to leave this crazy place, for a break?

I will miss Chapelle's Show, if it doesn't return. If the powers that be would let more of the great comedy club artists up front, folks like Dave wouldn't have so much weight to carry. He wouldn't be such an easy target
