B.I.G. "Duets- The Final Chapter"

We're listening to B.I.G.'s Duets album at the SOHH Mansion right now, as I'm writing this. It's better than I expected. Much better.

I was afraid Diddy would slap together some slipshod verses with over-produced pop beats, and rush some verses from the hot new talent to make BIG more "relevant".

No, nope, and nah.

It's quality stuff. Give it a fair first try.

somebody was singing it's praises somewhere else too, but I don't know man, I'm not ready to co-sign just yet. I mean it's ok, it's not the abortion of an album I thought it would be, but its not all that great either. I don't care how hot Houston is right now, Slim Thug shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a Biggie acapella.

Man the album is not that tight, other than the joint with Jay and Big, it sucks. Hearing Biggie with Twista, Dipset, and Slim Thug etc... make me sick... The joint with Bob Marley is ok at the best. This is another way for Puffy to make money of Big. I know that Ms. Wallace was invloved with the project, and thats one positive thing. But after hearing Pac's original songs get butchered over the years in his many posthumous projects, the last thing I wanted to hear was the same thing happen to Big. If the artist did not originally do the song with the other artist, don't put the shit out!
