Julianne offers a different view of E-40's now infamous listening session that turned into a Lil Jon hosted strip/smoke party:
My new friend Hillary and I were in the corner going: WTF?! I'm not one to begrudge any woman her chosen occupation, and I hope those ladies were getting paid a lot of money. But I didn't sign up for a strip club-I signed up for a listening session, and the sudden appearance of approximately 10 close-to-naked women shifted the dynamic of the room entirely. Sure, a lot of people seemed pretty pumped-but a lot of other people, both men and women, looked incredibly uncomfortable. I thought the listening party was intended so writers could to hear and review the record, but it's kind of hard to critique an album while some guy is getting a lap dance in the chair next to you. I left with some friends before it was over.
That's a pretty different description of the atmosphere than what I heard from my male co-workers, or read on blogs.
Other than alienating the women and some of the men at the listening session, this is a bad look for E-40 because I've been hearing more buzz about the event than the album. As SOHH put it:
"In the end, journalists on hand to review the album were left listening to a mix of E-40 classics and only a few cuts from his new album, My Ghetto Report Card."
I bet the album sucks.
That's one hell of a listening party.

Yo, okay now...I know one must have an acute ear to bump 40 water. But yo, I was in the studio with dude for a portion of the recording period and what I heard sounded hot. Now we all know that songs get left off by the time the album is finished and released. But I assure you, what I heard him and Jon cooking up was dope as hell.
As for that "listening party," that reminds me of a release party Luda did down here in the A for that Red Light District album. It was a full scale brothel. Everybody that wasnt a rapper or producer was offended by the activities going on that evening. Hell, even my free-liquor, half-naked woman liking ass felt uncomfortable, at times.

Informative content, In bachelor party you can drink all night but between the beer and the strippers, wouldn't it be fun to have a few bachelor party games such as Despedida Soltero.
