Some people are critisizing Kevin Garnett for celebrating the T'wolves win over the Kings as if he won the championship, not just a playoff series. Man, I say stop hating on the Kid. I would dance on table too if I overcame a history of being eliminated from the first round a half-dozen times, and then advanced to the Conference finals.

Plus, he better party now, because they might not even steal a game from the Lakers.

L.A.'s pipe dreams

Maybe the Lakers don't watch the old NBA footage of the 90's. If they did, they might have seen how the Olajuwon-Pippen-Barkley triumvirate turned out. Olajuwon ended with his 2 rings, and Scottie had his six- all acquired before he or Barkley made it to Houston. What a disaster that was.

Then again, maybe they were watching footage of Payton playing in the finals against Jordan in the '96 finals. And pictures of Malone playing in the '97 and '98 finals. And somehow they figured there's no difference physically between a man in his late 20's and one in his late 30's.
