Word up, Respect, Politic ditto

What's good?

Many of you who voted yesterday are saying to yourselves "Now what?" It's November Third, your guy won or lost, and now you're back at work/school/home wondering when things will change. Or, more importantly, what will you do with that Vote or Die t-shirt you spent 30 bucks on?

Well, I'm thinking the same thing. So this blog is about what's going on politically and socially the day and days after the election when everyone else stops noticing. As I learn, I'll share that with you.

Chuck D asked recently, "Who's keeping score?" I guess I am now. Hollerate if you want to keep score with me.

I was thinking of buying a "Crunk or Die!" T shirt. One of the sure reasons it seems why Kerry lost is because of the failure of the youth to actually vote. Their are things that can be done to keep politicians in check. Election day is just one day a year. People need to occasionally get politically active when an issue effects them.

Idea 2: If you didn't get to vote this time because you missed the registration date or got a provisional ballot, get out and register tomorrow for the election just two years from now. If one day down the line we controlled the house, we could begin impeachment hearings.

We need a revolution. Once niggas are out on their ass in the streets, robbing and murder is up again then mothereffs are burning things down maybe shit will change.

Probably not.

Myth of the fucking year here is that the youth didn't vote.
52% of us voted.
That is a great increase from last year.

The truth is - the "17%" figure everyone keeps quoting just means that ALL OTHER AGE GROUPS COMBINED increased in the same percentage as 18-29 year olds.
